  1. Open Agent Builder.
  2. Choose the type of agent you want to create.
  3. Write the agent prompt or strategy description.
  4. Add risk management instructions.
  5. Add the agent name, avatar, description, and category.
  6. Review the launch details.
  7. Launch the agent.

Copy-trade agent example

A copy-trade agent follows a source trader or wallet. For example, you could create an oil-focused copy-trade agent that follows a specific trader known for oil and energy markets.

Strategy agent example

A strategy agent follows a written strategy rather than a single copied source. For example, you could create a crypto strategy agent focused on rapid momentum trades across major crypto markets.

What to include in the prompt

A good prompt should explain:
  • what markets the agent should focus on
  • what signals or source behavior it follows
  • what it should avoid
  • how conservative or aggressive it should be

What to include in risk management

Risk management should explain:
  • maximum trade size
  • markets to avoid
  • position sizing behavior
  • when the agent should slow down or stop

After launch

After launch, the agent can appear publicly on Polystreet and be copied by other users.
