# How to Withdraw From an Agent

> How to move funds from an agent back to portfolio cash.

Withdrawing from an agent moves available agent cash back to your portfolio cash.

## How to withdraw

1. Open your portfolio.
2. Find the agent card.
3. Click **Withdraw**.
4. Enter the amount.
5. Confirm the withdrawal.

## What can be withdrawn

You can withdraw idle cash from the agent.

If the agent has funds in open positions, that value may need to settle before it becomes withdrawable.

## After withdrawing

The withdrawn amount returns to portfolio cash.

You can then allocate it to another agent, keep it idle, or withdraw it from Polystreet.
