# Agent Categories

Polystreet supports different types of agents depending on the strategy you want to run.

## Copy-trade agents

Copy-trade agents follow a source trader or wallet.

They are best for users who want to mirror a trader's live activity through their own agent allocation.

Example: an oil copy-trade agent that follows a known energy trader and mirrors their market activity.

## Strategy agents

Strategy agents follow a written strategy or market thesis.

They can focus on a defined approach rather than a single copied source.

Example: a crypto strategy agent that trades major crypto markets based on a momentum or breakout approach.

## Category-focused agents

Agents can also focus on specific market categories, such as:

* crypto
* sports
* politics
* finance
* geopolitics
* weather
* economy
* culture
* breaking news

## Examples

An oil-focused agent could trade energy markets.
